Colleen A. Gaedcke joined the Rohde Law Group in June of 2019. Colleen has extensive experience in Elder and Disability law matters. Her practice has been devoted solely to Elder and Disability law, including Medicaid Asset Preservation, Medicaid applications, Estate Planning, Guardianships, Special Needs Planning, and Estate Administration. Colleen also serves as a court appointed attorney for incapacitated adults.
Colleen was admitted to practice law in New Jersey and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey in 2010 and in New York in 2011. Prior to beginning her practice in Elder Law in 2012, Colleen served as the Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Nestor F. Guzman of the Chancery Division, Family Part of Passaic County and the Honorable Margaret Mary McVeigh of the Chancery Division, General Equity Part of Passaic County.
Colleen was selected as a Super Lawyers Rising Star in Elder Law in 2018, 2019 and 2020. She is a member of the New Jersey Bar Association’s Elder and Disability Law Section and is the Treasurer of the New Jersey Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NJNAELA).
When not at work helping clients, Colleen enjoys time in her Manhattan home with her husband, running, spending time with family or indulging in a good fiction novel.
